Community Crops empowers people to grow food through education, advocacy and experiences. At the Prairie Pine Training Farm, they provide training, technical assistance and land access to beginning, immigrant and limited-resource farmers. Their goal is to help people create sustainable farm businesses to feed their families and their community. Prairie Pines currently has 10 farms in operation. The farmers at the Community Crops market booth this year are members of the Yazidi refugee community. They are excited to share their passion for growing healthy, delicious vegetables with the Sunday Farmer's Market customers.
